Visit Wales ‘Nation’
This was quite the shoot!
We visited over 30 locations, with 0 recce days.
In 8 days we shot 4 commercials and multiple cut down films for this campaign.
Everywhere we went we met local contributors who had never been in front of the camera before.
Once I’d figured out the shot for each scene it was my job to put them all at ease, forming a relationship so that they were comfortable in front on camera and could give us the natural performance we were after.
Totally unscripted, all organic answers to the questions I was asking, which allowed us to craft tHe narrative in edit, making sure we had films full of personality.
Hopefully these films give you an insight into how welcoming, warm and friendly the people of Wales are, as well as the what they love about their country.
