My passion is my profession.
I absolutely love what I do and I appreciate the fortunate position I find myself in, although that being said I have worked hard to get here. My journey in this wonderful industry started out as a runner in 2000. Since then I’ve worked in live TV, promo departments and creative agencies, with roles ranging from creative, editor and creative director, all helping to shape to where I am today.
My passion was always in directing and storytelling. I’ve been directing since 2003 and I decided to take a leap of faith in 2018 and leave full time employment to become a freelance director. Since then I’ve been enjoying making award winning commercials and branded content campaigns with some amazing clients including the likes of Rolex, PayPal, Land Rover, Google, Red Bull, Adidas, Virgin Media, Xbox, Bupa, The Premier League and PokerStars.
I love to connect with talent and bring out their best performances, whether it’s working with A-list sports stars and the tight timings that come with that, or, working with children and getting those natural performances. I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with plenty of animals, from a pack of Wolves in the Californian forest to a Lion all the way in New Zealand.
I’m a people person and love to make new connections in the industry, so I’m always around to say hello or meet for a coffee. Better still, I’d love to write you a treatment to show how I’d bring creative from script to screen.
